Packers add Bradford, several others to practice squad

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Packers have made a bevy of roster moves following the 53-man roster cuts, including adding linebacker Carl Bradford to the practice squad.

For the second straight year, Bradford will begin the season on the practice squad, after being cut on Saturday and clearing waivers on Sunday. Among the other roster moves made on Sunday are the following:

  • WR Herb Waters (practice squad)
  • G Lucas Patrick (practice squad)
  • LB Sam Barrington (claimed by Chiefs)
  • RB Jhurell Pressley (practice squad from Vikings)
  • LB Reggie Gilbert (practice squad)
  • DT Brian Price (practice squad)
  • WR Devon Cajuste (practice squad from 49ers)

At the time of publication, Green Bay has three spots remaining on the practice squad. Receiver Geronimo Allison has reportedly cleared waivers and the Packers are presumably working to add him to the practice squad as well.

Three-time Pro Bowl guard Josh Sitton was released Saturday afternoon and is scheduling meetings with multiple teams. So far, that list includes the Bears and Saints.
