The Madison Parks Division presents Walk & Roll, a day of family fun in the Acewood and Elvehjem Park neighborhoods. Similar to Ride the Drive in the early part of summer, Walk & Roll will open up Madison streets for you to bicycle, run, walk, skate…or dance right down the middle of the road!
Walk & Roll is on Sunday, August 30, 10am | 2pm, and will feature two “villages” with fun activities for the whole family including food carts, bouncy houses, a climbing wall, trampoline, the Madison School & Community Recreation Fit 2 Go Van, and more!
Plus | there’s live music on the Midwest Family Marketing stage in Elvehjem Park, from…
Mark Croft (10 | 11:30am)
The Wells Division (Noon | 2pm)
Volunteer at Walk & Roll!
Just like Ride the Drive, Walk and Roll runs on VOLUNTEER POWER! Your help is needed to make Walk & Roll a success | volunteers are needed to help direct traffic during the event (you get to play cop!) as well as help with set-up and tear-down and lots of other little things that go into making an event like this happen. Volunteers will get lunch, and a free Madison Parks T-shirt! Volunteer information can be found on the official Walk & Roll website.
